marauderswr80 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 He still on the board correct? Could use an upgrade at TE......last I knew he was heavily wanted around here. No? Although id like to see Owen Schmitt......
Brandon Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Yeah, Rucker would be a nice pick here, as well as Kellen Davis.
Fastro Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I agree. Go TE 1st and then FB. Address the O-line in the 5th or 6th and I would be pretty happy.
Questfor31 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I don't know. Both guys seem kinda weak. Davis is cocky and lazy, Rucker's knock is that he can't block and drops a lot of balls. Neither guy is much of a blocker or pass catcher. Davis has the size but sounds like a problem child.
JM57 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 RUCKER at 114 Schmitt at 132 I could definitely deal with that.
Art in PNS Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 RUCKER at 114 Schmitt at 132 Good 4th round to me.

Well, we need something and I don't want to go through another year of Robert Royal and some UDFA. I'd put Rucker first and take Davis if Rucker's gone.

Yes, blocking will be an issue, but as a receiver, its hard to argue that he's been anything but productive.
Fastro Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I would be happy with that. Then let's look at O-line or another WR later in the draft. Marcus Monk, Steve Johnson, DeCody Fagg are all big targets who should be available.
davefan66 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Going to the browns. FFFFFFUUUUUDDDDDGGGGGEEEE!!!!!

I guess you can work on a guy's hands, but you can't do much about his attitude, and I agree, we need something more than Royal and some cast offs from the other teams (who do we have Courtney Anderson and ???). If it has to be a tight end, I guess it's Rucker. If they wait to grab one I wouldn't be disappointed though.
Fastro Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Damn, there goes Rucker. Greedy Browns. I guess Winslow Jr. wasn't enough for them.

Coach Tuesday Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 This organization just refuses to acknowledge the importance of a good tight end.
