Mike formerly from Florida Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Post comments here LOVE IT! Hardy and Ellis make up for the McKelvin disaster.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 Looks like Kelsay and Denney will have competition or he will be used a Schobel's back up.
Big Turk Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 ehh, i don't like it. i would have grabbed a TE perhaps they don't feel any TE left warrants that pick...I've heard they feel Martin Rucker from Missouri is going to be there in the 4th...
nucci Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 LOVE IT! Hardy and Ellis make up for the McKelvin disaster. What McKelvin disaster??
Astrobot Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Best available DE because Johnny Dingle had a bad 40 time. There was a character issue with Ellis. Can't remember what. But Hrdy started that ball rolling.
Mike formerly from Florida Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 ehh, i don't like it. i would have grabbed a TE We won't be drafting a TE. We have five on the roster and the Bills' brass think a lot of Schouman--just my hunch. John Sullivan or Steve Justice is the next pick.
ganesh Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Looks like Kelsay and Denney will have competition or he will be used a Schobel's back up. More likely replacement for the other DE Hargrove that has been suspended for the year.
BuffaloBilliever Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 He's fast, he can play, and he is STRONG. Watching NFL network, he almost knocked Sam Baker on his ass in a drill and manhandled Chris Williams.
Kipers Hair Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 MOre to it: Ellis is more than just an edge rusher. He has had good success as a leverage player vs. the run and has the quick-twitch moves to give chase in the opposing backfield. With his lateral agility and ability to clear his feet on the move, some scouts are even analyzing him as a potential strong-side linebacker in a 3-4 alignment, thanks to his 4.56 speed.
Mike formerly from Florida Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 What McKelvin disaster?? The fact they picked a cornerback--that's my opinion--I expect you to start insulting me since you disagree, right. Like--are you on drugs, I'm glad you are not he gm, stop posting, stuff like that.

Can't remember what. But Hrdy started that ball rolling. Apparently he has a "low motor" and is a durability issue with a wrist problem or something. Sure as hell didn't show it in what I've seen with him, I agree with the pick. Edit: Shoulder injury, not wrist.
MattM Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 ehh, i don't like it. i would have grabbed a TE If they can get Rucker in the 4th I'll love this pick....

Ooooh, how exciting.

The guy is a top rated player. Not your favorite but certainly not a disaster.
