nodnarb Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I wish to be the first Bills Fan in 2008 to call for the firing of Dick Jauron. If I owned the team, I would fire him right now and have security escort him out of the war room. Why do some people insist on being idiots?
BillsVet Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 6 DB's in 2+ drafts...and we have no depth on the OL...yes why not take a CB!
stuckincincy Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 6 DB's in 2+ drafts...and we have no depth on the OL...yes why not take a CB! There's still time left to draft a safety!
BillsVet Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 There's still time left to draft a safety! At this point, perhaps another K or P. DJ Fitzpatrick isn't caddying well enough. Honestly, how about a OL? And we all bashed Donahoe for not taking OL for depth...now Dick's taking CB's. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

generaLee83 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 ??? This team would have been 3-13 at best last year with a different coach... While I'm satisfied with the first 2 picks of the draft so far I won't speculate on what this teams record could have been with a different coach. There were many close games that were lost because of what seeemed to be a lacking of a killer attitude on offense. It could have easily gone 9-7 or perhaps even 10-6 if Dick Jauron was in possession of actual reproductive organs is what I'm saying. Dick the asexual, odd right?
generaLee83 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Why would you need security? Seems like he would leave if asked to. lol, he'd probably kindly get up and ask if anyone else in the room needed anything before he left. There should still be major concerns with his coaching ability even now with all the talent that this team has seemingly picked up.
Koufax Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 They just refuse to look at the big picture....Especially when they are going to let McKelvin bolt after 5 years. My general draft philosophy is that taking the most total expected contributions over a five year window is generally a good idea, and that over drafting based on need helps you get a little more contribution in year 1, at the cost of less over 2-5 (assuming the need pick is an inferior total football player, and that needs change with other draft picks, free agent signings, etc., so the year 1 need isn't a year 3 need necessarily). But to push this out and say that the Bills are making a mistake based partly on the contribution you don't expect in the 2013 season seems a little much.

We are expected to win and make the playoffs.
YOOOOOO Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Now...fast forward to Trent. The Bills are an injury away from Duke Preston and/or Chambers, and their center is second rate. So you want to pick for depth at #11....?? Is that what your telling me??

You do realise that Wilson is there with Jauron and the scouts giving his go ahead on the picks don't you ?
JPicc2114 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 3rd round pick was fantastic.. what is the problem?
