Sisyphean Bills Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Ummmm, why did GB take another QB? They're damn idiots. That's why!
Fewell733 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Ummmm, why did GB take another QB? strict BPA - it's a fool proof system....
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Ummmm, why did GB take another QB? Matt Flynn LSU
Sisyphean Bills Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I think we are just going TE/H-back hybrid and Fine is the last we are gonna add to the mix Trying to read the tea leaves on this one ... maybe when Jauron said the all new offense that was going to be the same only different really meant that we'd be running the exact same offense? Spread the field and have a U-back that was sort of cosmetic window dressing to the greatest show on turf and got a couple plays a season. On the other hand, the Bills have done ZERO to improve their overall speed and push down the field or the middle half. The guy on stilts is nice for all of those jump shots they might take if they ever get close to sniffing the endzone. Course, this is the same offensive unit that couldn't make 1st downs.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 What a nice pick by the Lions by getting Caleb Campbell! He's not going to Iraq now!
BillsVet Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Justice is a pure center. Pollack is more of a utility guy. But, hey, what the hell does Polian know about team building anyway? Polian, AJ Smith, Pioli/Belichick, Jerry Reese, Parcells, and Ted Thompson are what you need in an NFL front office. Unfortunately, none of those guys are in Buffalo. Polian's departure was the beginning of a slow descent.
jayc63 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I believe Jamey Richard from UB is still on the board for those thinking of centers
Brandon Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 1st 7th round pick: Demetrius Bell, OT. I definitely like that one. I haven't seen him play, but from what I've read, he has a lot of potential.
ndirish1978 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Bell Exciting raw talent with the size, athletic ability and rapid improvement to warrant the patience needed for development. Signed with Northwestern State on a basketball scholarship and has only played organized football since 2005. Originally played defensive end, but was quickly switched to left tackle and has developed into an All-American honoree. Raw as they come, but scouts love his upside.
Grouse89 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Sounds like he could become as good as peters, hopefully if everything goes to plan, good pick
ndirish1978 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Bell is Karl Malone's son...good bloodlines... You sure?
In space no one can hear Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 You sure? Yes, that's true.

Also sounds like he can use some time with NFL weight training...with coaching he could be a good back-up to Peters...based on his atheletic abiliity.
jayc63 Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 You sure? Yes...it says it in the PFW book...also that Malone did not have contact with him growing up...
/dev/null Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Caleb Cambell just got drafted! Very nice! ESPN just showed some Service Academy players previously drafted. Last one taken should be familiar. DE Bryce Fisher in 1999
