Tipster19
I hope everybody is happy with what the Bills did today. I know alot of fans were looking for a WR or other fans like myself who were hoping for Derrick Harvey but I think it was a great, great day for the Bills and all there fans. As the time was getting nearer I found myself hoping the only player that we didn't take was Cromartie. I just think that McKelvin was a very solid pick and I hope that we can all be very happy together for at least one day. I think that nobody should feel disappointed at all about the WR thing seeing that none were even taken in the first rd. Imagine if we were the only ones taking one with the #11 pick and nobody else did. We would all feel pretty shi--y in hindsight and I believe that we would have all torn our front office a new one. When we took Hardy how joyous was that?! I do think that Green Bay caught some people off guard and it wouldn't surprise me if we were considering Jordy Nelson ourselves. I hope tomorrow is just as fruitful and everybody stays satisfied and optimistic. Cheers to the Bills and to each and everyone of you. Go Bills! 2020 Our Year For Sure
It wasn't a happy scene in my house when Harvey went off the board. When Jacksonville moved up, we went through the possibilities, and none of us even mentioned Harvey...complete surprise. Ah well, dem da breaks. A bit disappointed the end result of the 1st round was a cornerback, but what keeps me from complaining is that with the board looking as it did, I'm not sure what the alternative was, other than maybe trading down. Absolutely thrilled with the Hardy pick, as the 'current selection' notice came up on the marquee, I was repeating "Sweed or Hardy, Sweed or Hardy, Sweed or Hardy..." Its good to have the team take someone I had my eye on for a change. Hope everyone else enjoyed the day as much as we did here...go Bills!

I think they got awfully lucky that they were still available, but I'll take it. And while I was a bit indifferent to the McKelvin pick at the time (and still am, a little bit), I agree, looking at how that first round unfolded, I don't think they could've done it differently. I believe that they really wanted him all along. As far as the WRs go, I think Nelson and Devin Thomas were high on their list but weren't going to mortgage the farm for them, especially after how the first rd went. BillsD#1in2008
I believe Hardy had to be if not the top on our board in the top 3 because we didnt take Kelly or Sweed instead we took Harvey and i dont believe Avery was even in our top 5.........Thomas and Nelson were gone so that makes me believe that Hardy was either the top WR on our board or at least in the top 3....and McKelvin was obviously the top on our board so that is great!
