JuanGuzman Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 #5 Glenn Dorsey #15 Branden Albert #35 Brandon Flowers With 3 picks left to come in the 3rd round (73,76,82). Nice job by them to get on on the rebuilding trek.

ans4e64 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Best draft. They need at least 2 to 3 more offensive lineman, they can't mail it in yet. They've got street free agents on their line.
Matt in KC Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I completely agree. Not a bad way to start the draft, huh? I might have to watch a few more Chiefs games this year....
Heat89 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Herm said he was expecting 6 starters from this draft I see 3 thus far.
colin Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 and if true to form 50% of their guys bust out, they MIGHT end up replacing allen. just being a devil's advocate, but srsly, a lot of these top guys will bust. i think gholston is the first to burst!
Marv Levy Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 A big !@#$ THE CHIEFS!! Hate that team ever since the Nigerian Nightmare.
d_wag Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 pretty easy to have a good first couple rounds when your picking early each round and deal an All Pro for a 1st rounder
Fastro Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 They have a lot to rebuild there. They used to have one of the best O-lines in the league and I think I saw one of the stats listed during the draft that listed them as tied for worst in the NFL in giving up sacks.
deep2evans Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 pretty easy to have a good first couple rounds when your picking early each round and deal an All Pro for a 1st rounder exactly. while they've picked good players, the fact that they gave up jared allen has to be part of the equation.
JuanGuzman Posted April 27, 2008 Author Posted April 27, 2008 pretty easy to have a good first couple rounds when your picking early each round and deal an All Pro for a 1st rounder No doubt I didn't mean gloss over the fact that they have so many picks due to the Allen trade. All I'm is that they got the best overall player in the Draft IMO Glenn Dorsey, the second best O-lineman in the draft Albert (first is Jake Long although Clady and Chris Williams went ahead of Albert ), and the most physical corner back in the draft in Flowers. Personally I rank most important positions to be D-line, O-line and DB and to come away with those guys... I just really liked the guys they came away with in the first two rounds.
