Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 6'5½" receiver? That'll work! Our Randy Moss.
cåblelady Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 SWEET we gots a big receiver!!!! .....and he's cute!!
BuffaloBilliever Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 .....and he's cute!! 0_o woah there cablelady! haha I'm ecstatic. I kept seeing him and Sweed fall and thought "wow, we're going to get one of them." Then, ESPN went to !@#$ing COMMERCIAL and I saw "James Hardy" and screamed YES about 8 times, haha
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 This is the guy I'd been hoping for. We wanted a big WR--so we went out and got a BIG WR. This guy is perfect as a #2 and a redzone threat. I'd be thrilled if his stat line looked something like 400 yards and 9 TD's this year.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I was really hoping for Sweed He doesn't have the size Hardy has and Hardy has WAY more potential.
ExWNYer Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Well, well. Now let's go get Martellus Bennett from Texas A&M to play TE for us (6' 6", 250, 4.75).
K-9 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Our Randy Moss. When he runs in the low 4.3s come talk to me about Randy Moss. I still like the pick though. GO BILLS!!!
Horus Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Well, well. Now let's go get Martellus Bennett from Texas A&M to play TE for us (6' 6", 250, 4.75). exactly...but Bills might have to move back into the 2nd to get there TE..not sure...Ilove the Hardy pick myself
Cornerville Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Very solid day for the Bills so far. Now say trade up and let's get Fred Davis
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Very solid day for the Bills so far. Now say trade up and let's get Fred Davis Bingo. But this should be posted on a different thread. The Davis part I mean.
Fan in Chicago Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Marv Levy on Chicago ESPN radio (and I totally am going from memory): "I know the Bills organization were really looking for a big WR opposite the excellent Evans and they got him. Now I know there are some concerns regarding Hardy around his dedication but Jauron is a good coach and will get him ready to play......... And I really like Jauron. I know there are mixed feelings about him in the Chicago area, but I think he is a GOOD COACH". Other announcer about Hardy "Hardy has this knock that he is a laid back player, most expect a WR in the NFL to be fiery and he does not come across as one. But he may be that way off the field and once he is in, he knows how to produce. "
scribo Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Hardy knows how to get into the endzone, and that has been the Bills biggest problem. He is the perfect pick for us.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Hardy knows how to get into the endzone, and that has been the Bills biggest problem. He is the perfect pick for us. We need a nickname for him.

Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I just want to say... Hardy Har Har 19 and 0 baby!!! Now that's a great nickname.
The Senator Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 Now that's a great nickname. Click on it - I think you'll enjoy it. I hope the Bills put that clip up on the Jumbotron every time Hardy scores a TD, which will be quite often! GO BILLSSS!!!!

Ramius Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I wanted Sweed, but i have no problems with the hardy pick. we have a good solid possession WR and redzone threat. All in all a kick ass 1st day of the 208 draft. (Well, i'm guessing bill in NYC will say this is a disaster only topped by 2006, if he hasnt had an aneurysm yet)
