Pete Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 TENN has to go WR right? They have no one and lost Givens. Bobby Wade isn't probowler IMO yes- here goes the WR run. There is no way the Titans do not go WR!
In space no one can hear Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Tennesee might take Sweed, with the Texas connection.
kendrickoffice Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I think it's interesting that all of the first round runningbacks will be coming to teams who already seem to have an established starter. Just goes to show how the NFL truly has become a tandem RB league
truth on hold Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 You'd think so, but who knows at this point. You'd think someone would be willing to take a risk on a tall, fast, athletic WR. Either the busts of recent years have scared teams off, or there's a feeling that these guys aren't just unworthy of a first, they're just not any good, period. Dallas taking RB with their 1st round 1 pick. hope that means they go defense to get a better pass rush or secondary with their 2nd 1st rounder.
lets_go_bills Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Titans need a WR. It's a safe bet that the first WR will go here. Question is, which one? Sweed and Young have a Texas connection.
sven233 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Tenn could go CB here. With Pacman being traded, they need to fill that spot. Jenkis is still on the board. Definately a possibility for CB here.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Tennesee might take Sweed, with the Texas connection. All the better for us to get Devin Thomas.
otisly00 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 need to trade up to get a top WR. unless we want to wait for jordy nelson which is what kiper had us doing....if he calls it he's a genius
Phil Indablanc Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Is that your tea leaves or crystal ball telling you that? Perhaps Miss Cleo? Just the facts. No speculation here on my part. The professionals who do this for a living (not just one of them, mostly all of them) have decided that this was the course to follow. Did you call for a WR with 11?
Pete Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 what would it take to trade up to this pick? Thomas would be a steal right here
kendrickoffice Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Thomas tearing up and smiling with a phone?
truth on hold Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Thomas tearing up and smiling with a phone? makes sense. w/ crumpler they dont need a bigger WR
Pete Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Is Meshawn color blind? That outfit is hideous! Checkered shirt with pinstripe suit and a polka dot tie-and no color coordination.
Maguire's Beer Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Skins absolutely pillaged the Falcons there . . . that was one of the worst draft day trades I've ever seen. Two 2s (including 34) and a high 4 for a low 1, comp 3, and a 5? And they picked a center projected in the late 2? Falcons are awful.
slyng1 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Is Meshawn color blind? That outfit is hideous! Checkered shirt with pinstripe suit and a diagonal striped tie-and no color coordination. No truer words have ever been spoken... Hideous...
