Dan Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Well, if we had waited on a CB instead of a WR, there'd be slim pickins in the second round. Excellent point. Maybe the Bills' brass made the right call?
In space no one can hear Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Folks..these WR's have a lot of question marks   A player that might be a question mark in the first round, can often times be called a steal in the second round.
Fewell733 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Eagles trade a fourth to the dolphins for Lorenzo Booker? can you say random? Â really? that's good - Booker was their scariest target last year, and criminally under-utilized by the fins
billnutinphoenix Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 A player that might be a question mark in the first round, can often times be called a steal in the second round. Â Â that's why I don't want to trade into round 1 at this point..let's wait until the 2nd if we decide to pull the trigger
VABills Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 After Lofton and Conner it's a huge drop off to the next LB. there are plenty of WR's and TE's who should be there in the 3rd. Go with the draft and get the positions that are least available early.
sven233 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 In the next few picks, we could see some movement. There are a couple of LBs that could be taken along with some teams trading up for a QB. Definately a possibility.
truth on hold Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 don't get too excited. not only do we need a legit #2 WR, we need a legit #3 and legit TE as well. without that how are we going to score?
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Hawks select Lawrence Jackson DE. Â Â Â REACH!
sven233 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Seahawks pick is in......they take...... Â Lawrence Jackson!
billnutinphoenix Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 don't get too excited. not only do we need a legit #2 WR, we need a legit #3 and legit TE as well. without that how are we going to score? Â Â I agree..however a good TE may be available in Round 4
Brandon Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 30+ career sacks in a major conference. Hardly a reach. Â Lawrence Jackson will be a good player in the NFL.
Huuuge Bills Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Good to see I was right about 1 thing, Merling is dropping like a lead baloon.
Pete Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 13 picks until us. As much as we need WR, I would be very tempted to draft Merling if he was there at 41. He might be BPA
Fewell733 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 SF can DEFINATELY take a WR here. Â they need help all over the place
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 WR run starts with SF... (knock on wood)
slyng1 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Maybe i'm an idiot, but if i were SF, i'd take Henne or Brohm (or trade down and get more picks)... Alex Smith is not good...
