Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3364138 also per kffl.com Cowboys | Team agrees in principle on trade for Pacman Wed, 23 Apr 2008 15:20:53 -0700 Ed Werder, of ESPN, reports the Dallas Cowboys have agreed in principle on a trade sending a fourth round pick to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for CB Pacman Jones.
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I think that's a pretty good deal for the Titans. Even if he produces a little in Dallas, the fact that the Titans could even get that much is a success.
cale Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 No link yet. Just broke on SC. If this is true, the Cowboys just got screwed...
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 23, 2008 Author Posted April 23, 2008 If this is true, the Cowboys just got screwed... Got a source. It's officially true.
lets_go_bills Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Holy crap. I thought the Titans didn't want to trade him for a fourth, I thought they wanted more. Oh well. Pacman is a really good football player, I wonder what affect the year off will have on his game.
the_franchise Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 As long as part of his new contract doesn't allow him to be out past 9 or going to strip clubs he should be just fine. Hopefully the guy gets his head out of his ass and plays good football, even though I hope the Boy's dont even contend for anything but last place this year.
Tipster19 Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 This might open up the 28th pick for a trade now that they addressed the secondary.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 23, 2008 Author Posted April 23, 2008 This might open up the 28th pick for a trade now that they addressed the secondary. What about both their first round picks?
Tipster19 Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 What about both their first round picks? I'm expecting them to address the RB position but who knows what will happen with the likes of Shaun Alexander on the market.
d_wag Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 they're going to take a WR with one of those firsts - they want a compliment to TO and with glenn getting old and crayton sucking it up down the stretch they need one.....
Frez Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 The Cowboys want to win it all. I can't hate them for adding Pacman Jones. Jerry Jones has some balls to make a move like this. He sure isn't afriad to spend some cash on his team to make a winner on the field.
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 The NFL- Proving once again no matter how bad of a detriment you are to society, if you have talent, you'll continue to get chance after chance.
USMCBillsFan Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 He still needs to be reinstated before he ever puts that star on his head.
Astrobot Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 This might open up the 28th pick for a trade now that they addressed the secondary. Might have been the first step to the Cowboys moving on up.
RayFinkle Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 He still needs to be reinstated before he ever puts that star on his head. Seeing as how Jerry Jones and Bob Kraft basically run the league, I don't think that will be a problem.
BillsWatch Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 Cowboys | Team agrees in principle on trade for Pacman I have never seen a principle that the Cowpokes were not willing to violate.
elegantelliotoffen Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 I have never seen a principle that the Cowpokes were not willing to violate. In the same locker room: Pacman Tank Johnson TO hahahahaha
