stuckincincy Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 Awww...what a shame... Judge denies Henry's request Ex-Bengal wanted his bond relaxed by Kimball Perry, Cincinnati Enquirer 04/23/08 "Former Cincinnati Bengal Chris Henry wanted his bond relaxed so he could travel to other cities seeking another NFL job, but a judge Tuesday refused the request. Henry, 24, of Downtown, is accused in a March 31 incident of punching Gregory Meyer, 18, in the head and throwing a beer can through a window on Meyer's car. He is charged with assault and criminal damage. His attorney, Perry Ancona, told Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Richard Bernat that Henry has been contacted by "numerous" NFL teams who want to see him work out before they decide whether to sign him. Henry can't work out for any teams - Ancona wouldn't name them - because part of his bond is to wear an electronic ankle monitor equipped with a global tracking device to track his whereabouts. "The (job) opportunity is now, by the way," Ancona said. "The workouts are now.""... http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/art...0354/1056/COL02

I can't believe there are teams out there that would want him. The Cowboys? The Raiders? Who the hell would want that guy. I wouldn't want him if he played for free. He could destroy the chemistry of a lockerroom. I thought that was Tank Johnson. Tanks for clearing that up.

Translation: Chris Henry doesn't have anything better to do, so he was going be like a Deadhead following the Grateful Dead on tour. Except instead of the Grateful Dead, he was going to travel from city to city following the Hannah Montana tour
SABURZFAN Posted April 24, 2008 Posted April 24, 2008 great decision by the judge. he doesn't deserve any kind of leniency. i seriously doubt that "numerous" NFL teams inquired about him too.
