billybob
The Bills trade 2009 1st round pick for Chad Johnson 2008 draft 1. Derrick Harvey DE could back up RE and LE and eventually take over from Kelsey 2. Carl Nicks OT- when Peters was injured it reveled a lack of depth at OT- 3. Red Bryant DT- not a desperate need but could spell Stroud- Bryant is very tough against the run 4a Martin Rucker TE- less than great size/speed numbers push him down - but he has demonstrated he can catch the ball 4b Zack Bowman CB- big CB who could be a steal if fully healed 5. Donnie Avery WR - good KR has some talent at WR too 6. Marcus Monk WR- Injury pushed him down - big and smart 7a Trevor Scott DE/OLB- special teams and pass rush specialist 7b John Sullivan C- can Preston be here another year 7c LB-
ROCCEO
Im sorry to be negative, but that series of events would definately put me in the tank. Id be excited for about 12 hours, then Id realize that we addressed our biggest need with a head-case who is overrated as a red-zone threat(although still a top 10 reciever) and a 5th round pick while mortgaging the future. Harvey I like, the rest of the guys I am non-commital about. I dont see any plausible way to trade for CJ, Roy Williams or any other current NFL reciever. Second, round 2 or 1 will be used for a WR. And third, we don't need a DT in round 3. WR, CB, and TE should be draft within the first 3 rounds. Fastro
I am not so sure why everyone loves CJ. Why would we want to give up a high draft pick for someone who is 30 and is a "me first" player?

Why would we want to give up a high draft pick for someone who is 30 and is a "me first" player? 30 is old for a RB but a WR is usually pretty good until around 35- a drafted WR given a 4 year contract might not really come into his own until the 3rd or 4th year- Chad Johnson is going give you 1000+ for at least 3 years.
