Lv-Bills Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 ESPN News is interviewing a guy from Philly who is talking about the Eagles lack of playmakers around Donovan McNabb and their pressing need for WR's. So, ESPN asked him should they take a WR with their first pick, and he says NO, he doesn't think there is a WR in this draft worthy of being drafted NINETEEN. Wow. What about 11? lol
Astrobot Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Sounds like they're panicking. They want WR and OT in the worst way. Clady-Otah-Williams will be gone. Devin Thomas will be gone, and quite possibly Sweed will be gone. What's their plan?
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Maybe the Philly GM reads this board and will do what one poster suggested...sign Eddie Kennison
Astrobot Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Maybe the Bills brought Devin Thomas in to scare Philly. Philly wants WR's to fall to them; the Bills want to trade down. Philly overpays for a trade-up to #11 and the Bills get their spot and Philly's 3rd and 5th Rounder. Bills Draft then looks like: 1. James Hardy WR 2. Mike Pollack OC 3. Fred Davis TE 3. Chevis Jackson CB 4. Andre Fluellen DT 4. Owen Schmitt FB 5. Chris Harrington DE 5. Ezra Butler OLB 6. Dennis Dixon QB 7. Corey Lynch FS 7. Steven Johnson WR 7. Mark Bradford WR

ax4782 Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 If you switch Mike Pollack and Fred Davis, I think you might have it absolutely right. Also, I like Hardy more and more. He is not injury prone, and he has the size and speed to be an elite receiver. Nice work.
