Alaska Darin Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 He denies any interest....for now. Spurrier to Miami? 71213 I can't imagine why he'd go back to the NFL for any reason.
KD in CA Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 As if we needed another reason to hate Miami!
Alaska Darin Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 As if we needed another reason to hate Miami! 71235 Shaaaaa, as if...
BuffalOhio Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 I hope he goes there. He's proven that he's a lousy NFL coach. That's just what we want for Miami. Go Steve, go!!!
Foxboro Mike Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 This is the best news for the AFC East since Wanny got extended in Miami! Although, believe it or not, Steve Spurrier was the coach of the last team to defeat the Defending World Champion New England Patriots. File under "Blind Squirrel Finds Nut."
nodnarb Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 i would throw a party for anyone interested in free beer and food.
Beerball Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 i would throw a party for anyone interested in free beer and food. 71629 Hell, I would pay part of his salary. No way in hell he slithers back into the NFL.
JinVA Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 He could also go back to the Gators. 71646 Or UNC
erynthered Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 Or UNC 71648 I think that would be a better fit. I really dont think he wants back in the NFL, and all the Multi-millionare ego's to deal with. BTW, He wouldnt be in the SEC then. Go Noles!!
nemhoff Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 Spurrier to the Cuse!! Man they need somebody to start bringing in players.
Buftex Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 Funny, I heard on FoxSports radio over the weekend that Spurrier might wind up in New Orleans next year. That would be a perfect fit, IMO. The Saints would then retain their identity as perpetual losers.....
