Just Jack Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Pats, final week of the season. Would be nice if it has playoff implications for both teams.
Captain Hindsight Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Last time we played the last week of the season we got smoked
MattM Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Last time we played the last week of the season we got smoked ...and that's why payback's a B word.....
Buftex Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Assuming the Pats don't slide, and assuming the Bills improve, it is likely the last four games of the season will be very important to the Bills. On paper, in April 2008, you wouldn't think the Bills would have a chance of beating the Pats, if they have to...but how huge would it be, if they did?
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Last time we played the last week of the season we got smoked Not seeing it this year. Think positive.
Captain Hindsight Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 ...and that's why payback's a B word..... Lol i hope so
kendrickoffice Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 This game feels like it could end up being eerily similar to the Pittsburgh game a few years back: a must win for the bills vs. the pats who have everything locked up and play their back-ups. Yet we still blow it
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 In all honesty, I think we'll have clinched the division by then. The track record for teams coming off of Superbowl losses is not an impressive one, and we've been steadily improving each year since Jauron came in. I truthfully believe the time has come.

Yet we still blow it  That's the spirit. I swear, bills fans are the most pessimistic bunch of whiners there are. Im really starting to believe that. Granted, 10yrs of horrible non playoff football will demoralize any fan base, but come on. It is April 16th & we are already thinking of ways that they could blow a potential wildcard birth.

SuperKillerRobots Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 completely agreed, this act is getting old. So, if I third the motion, will it stop?
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 Law of averages says we have to win . Agreed. We're "due."
don_of_manhattan Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I hope we are resting starters and looking foward to a bye week!
