And some not quite so intelegent.

The guy is an outsider among outsiders in the rap community now, and he just furthered that with a stupid statement. I'm not defending the hip-hop industry. Most of it is crass commercialism and misogyny to the Nth degree. But do your homework. This guy isn't popular and hasn't been for awhile. To say that "intelegent" young people are listening to it is ridiculous. It'd be like if Billy Squier got out there with some crazy message and you said "look at all these awful rock musicians, I can't believe the young people are following this guy." As if anyone would care.
Paco
"9-11 happened to them, not us," he added, explaining that by "them" he meant "the rich ... those who are oppressing us. I'm sure Bill Cosby would love this comment.

What KRS-One said is one of the more assinine, ignorant and deplorable things I have heard in awhile.
GG
Not to mention that many of the top executives at the major labels are black, and that Jay-z may get to be president of Universal Music. This, two days after Steve Harvey pronounced that eminem lost his ghetto card for making fun of Wacko Jacko.
MelissaInPhilly
This rapper doesn't speak for everyone. I cried after 911. People of all races and nationalities died that day. One of the copilots on one of the planes was African American, and at least one flight attendant was Asian. This person is channeling his anger in the wrong direction. Tux of Borg
KRS-One's biggest album was Sex and Violence which came out in 92. I remember the videos "duck down" and "13 and good". Other then that he has been quiet since then. Maybe he is going for the shock effect.
