It's already gone around the Kelly tanked in his 40 (he ran a 4.68 and 4.75), and acted like a baby afterwards. But here are some links:

His 40 times hurt him, but I think his immaturity afterwards (shirting blame, pouting, arguing with his coach, complaining, throwing shoes) hurt him more. Shows poor character too.

He just fell to the second round.

If he works out again privately for teams, he may stand a chance at redemption, but it appears to be too late.

I've been defending the guy on this part of it, but its beginning to sound like he threw one hell of a tantrum.

Yeah. If the reports are true then it's not the 40 time that's got me concerned, it's the immaturity. I dont' care how mad or frustrated he was, that's no way to behave when auditioning for NFL teams.

Good. I want them to take Thomas. He's the best WR in the draft.

You know what, if there is truth to what he's saying then I don't really blame him. This is his livelyhood and it sounds like he has been mislead.

I agree with you, he does have a legitimate gripe, but when it comes to the point of throwing shoes, rumors of the agent being removed from the facility, and of Kelly getting into a confrontation with the Oklahoma coaching staff, all of this possibly in front of NFL scouts, I think its going more than a little too far.

Then how come you've been hollering for Malcolm Kelly the past few months?

Just go with the flow I guess eh LSI?

Everyone knows that field turf is slower than astro turf. NFL scouts consider the surface when factoring in a 40 time. A 4.68 on field turf is probably not much different than something in the 4.5 range on astro turf. Blowing up kills him.

This only confirmed my feelings on Kelly. I barely had him ranked third overall for WRs (Sweed is 1, Thomas is 2), but it was more like a three-way tie for third between him, Hardy and Jackson. This will make that ranking easier for myself.

I'm starting to think Sweed might be the best option at the WR position. I was more of a fan of Thomas before, but considering they want a guy who is gonna be ready to go as the 2nd WR this fall, Sweed sounds like the best bet.

That's what I'm thinking right now. I'm pretty much sold on it after today. I think Sweed's a good, relatively safe pick with a lot of talent and a guy who has the reputation of busting his a$$ to improve his game.

A 21-year-old kid lost more money today than a lot of us will see in our lifetimes. I'd cut him some slack.

I didn't like him at #11 this only helps the Bill if his stock is sliding. Maybe he hangs around till rd. 2.

I want Sweed over Thomas just because of the consistency of his production. Moreover, I don't see a wrist injury to be major concern.

I wonder what Reggie Smith's times were.

A little? Never yell at the coaching staff! That's a big no, no. T.O. might be able to get away with that because he's been around for awhile but for a guy trying to get drafted that seems like suicide. He may have pushed himself down to the fourth round.

This board liked Kelly a lot more than the Bills ever did. Regardless of what any espn talking head said (McShay). The Bills are going defense at 11 or will trade down or up (from 2nd) for a WR. Deal with it.

Good to know that the scouts are posting here on this forum.

This board did like Kelly (I was not amongst that group), but so did the Bills. Modrak said a lot of positive things about him at the combine, and Jauron said recently they have no problem with his knees. Also, the Bills - I believe - brought him to town for a pre-draft interview. There's always the possibility the team is blowing smoke, but it would appear the Bills have at least entertained the idea of drafting Kelly.
