Steely Dan
This is something really interesting. Years ago the Discovery Channel was filming something and one of these rods moved across the footage. Nobody noticed it til they got into editing. These things really do exist and they're really weird. I would suggest watching it.

Steely Dan
what the heck are "rods"? Ditto! If you watched it you'd know. Article Linkage Rods were the subject of season 1, episode 11 of The History Channel's series, Monster Quest. Near the end of the episode, a "rod" is captured simultaneously by a traditional video camera and a high-speed camera. While the video recorded by the traditional camera showed a brightly-illuminated "rod" with multiple undulating wings, the high-speed video clearly showed a common moth flying across its field of view. After watching the show I'd have to say they are tricks of the light on camera but it doesn't explain everything. There are weird unexplained things about them. Picture Ancient Rod Drawing. It's on the upper right. What did the ancients see?

Steely Dan
I've never heard them called Solar Entities before
buckeyemike
This show had to be a repeat. The Rods were on earlier this year, b/c I watched nearly the whole show. The one that intrigued me was the one about the thunderbirds. Actually, it scared the heck out of me.
