Steely Dan Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Please stop pushing James Hardy for the Bills. Hardy is probably off their board, at least I hope he is. I don't want to see him in a Buffalo uniform it would make me gag. Linkage Hardy was arrested May 19 after Ft. Wayne police responded to a 911 call at 3509 S. Hanna Street at 5:40 p.m. On the call, dispatchers reportedly could hear profanity and screaming before the caller hung up. When police later arrived at the scene, Hardy’s girlfriend was found sitting across the street from the house crying, and her shirt was reportedly torn and she had marks on the side and back of her neck. A probable cause affidavit states Hardy struck his girlfriend of seven years and their infant son.
marauderswr80 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Roscoe Parrish was arrested for a DUI..........hes in a Bills uniform. Where do you stand with that? Driving under the influence you could kill someone......... I understand your point, thats why I bring this up......
DreamOnDan Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Well if you put it that way... That's a very poor way to ask a poll question. He is not a baby killer. You've made mistakes in your life too. Robyn Niedzweicki, spokeswoman for the Allen County prosecutor's office, said the charge was dismissed after Hardy completed a six-month program. Hardy received counseling in communication improvement and anger management at his own expense, authorities said. Hardy's girlfriend, Kyra Nolan, 22, told emergency personnel that Hardy hit her and their infant son, according to a probable-cause affidavit. But during a June 13 hearing she testified that she phoned 911 to "get at" Hardy and said the incident was a "big misunderstanding." http://www.wthr.com/global/story.asp?s=7913456 Hardy faces tough questions at combine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=afr3PoA9ibI James Hardy Highlights http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=33065 Bio/test results Dude is good

Driving under the influence you could kill someone......... I understand your point, thats why I bring this up...... That didn't happen before he was drafted. I also think hitting your girlfriend and SMALL CHILD is a lot different. Did Roscoe make a mistake absolutely but, I don't think that's the same. A guy who hits his girlfriend and kid isn't a man at all and I don't want him on the team.

Totally understand your point........being a parent myself, i see your point. My point was Roscoe had off the field issues aswell.....I was just wondering where you stood on that part. Thats all.......didnt mean for you to take it the wrong way.

Dude, he isn't a baby beater, give it up. Its crazy, he is still with his girlfriend going on ten years and he loves his child. Superstar athlete has same girlfriend for almost 10 years and she got drunk and came at him. Its a regular routine post girlfriends 8th beer in my house. He simply protected himself. She addmitted she lied about hitting the kid. Seriously
Lurker Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Please stop pushing James Hardy for the Bills. Please stop creating threads when this has already been posted ad nauseum...

Steely Dan Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 Please stop creating threads when this has already been posted ad nauseum... Dude I keep seeing people who want Hardy. Nobody has started a thread to discuss this. I'm hoping the people who want him will quit using him as an example for the Bills to draft.
DreamOnDan Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Gotcha!! As I stated above the majority of women retract their statements later on. Its because the majority of women lose their temper, do stupid stuff, and don't take accountability for their actions.
Steely Dan Posted April 9, 2008 Author Posted April 9, 2008 Its because the majority of women lose their temper, do stupid stuff, and don't take accountability for their actions. Just when I thought I'd already seen the dumbest post on this board.
Bill from NYC Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Its because the majority of women lose their temper, do stupid stuff, and don't take accountability for their actions. Thanks for that. Now I am clear about how you feel. I will react accordingly to the rest of your posts on this topic now that you have set a rather high standard for idiocy.
Billadelphia Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 As I stated above the majority of women retract their statements later on. They do, but alot of times, they do so because their original story didn't happen exactly as they described it in the heat of the moment on a 911 call. I would say that in most of the cases like this that I've seen, the real story happens somewhere in the middle. I can say with confidence that if he hit his child, there would be some kind of bruise or mark, the girlfriend (based on everything I know of motherly instincts) would have been far too upset to later retract her story, and the police would have detained James for longer than they did and given a stiffer punishment than they did. To me, the story seems like alot of flames being fanned by the media who sometimes can pitch a story in favor of the direction that gets the most attention and causes the most heads to turn. I think that if this is the only thing that is holding the Bills back from drafting him, then they should think again.

If there are bruises and torn clothing she didn't do it to herself!!!!! I don't care if there is some exaggeration. If he hits his wife he's a wife beater!!!!! I don't want him on the team!!!!
marauderswr80 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Has James Hardy spoke about it to NFL teams and what happen? Just curious.........We can read all we want about the incident, but fact of the matter is there are 2 people who know the real truth, Kyra Nolan and her baby daddy.

I don't care if there is some exaggeration. If he hits his wife he's a wife beater!!!!! I don't want him on the team!!!! That doesnt affect his ability to catch a football, though. In all seriousness, I think that the incident was blown out of proportion. I don't think he is a wife beater, I think that he and his girlfriend got in a fight that went too far. I think that is why she retracted her statement, too. There isn't any proof that he did anything that would warrent anything more than a slap on the wrist, which is what he got. If he hit his kid, like everyone on here is screaming, he would be in jail. Do you think that the media whores that surround division 1 football and the NFL would let a real story about someone beating a 1yr old child and girlfriend rest if there was any merit in the case at all?

What really happened but it's enough to know she had bruises on her back and neck and torn clothing. You don't think she did that to herself do you!! BTW, is anyone else disturbed by the results of this poll so far. I thought it would be a slam dunk against him but right now approx. 40% don't care.

That's the most disgusting statement I've seen on this board. It's only a game. I'd rather see the Bills lose to a team of Chris Henry's and Pacman Jones' than have them on their own team to try to beat them. If a woman attacks you you need to tuck in and get out of there until things cool down. You don't hit her back!!! EVER!!!
