Special K Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Just wanted some opinions as to which site is the best, safest, etc. site to play poker....pokerstars.net or fulltiltpoker.net. Thanks.
CosmicBills Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Wait, are poker sites back up? As in you can get money from them again? I thought they were banned or something for a bit?
CosmicBills Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 pokerstars Stupid question ... just joined pokerstars ... can you play for real money? I don't see a cashier option.
Fezmid Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 I play on Sportsbook.com. You can bet on sports, play casino games, and play poker. I've withdrawn money before and gotten it no problem, and I think you can still fund it through a credit card (haven't deposited in awhile, so maybe they changed it).

Interesting ... but you're not sure about poker stars? Oh well. The sites I used to play on are no more.

stevestojan Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 never played cards on sportsbook, but the rest of the site is good. easy to withdraw if you can ever avoid throwing all your winnings back in
KD in CA Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Wait, are poker sites back up? As in you can get money from them again? I thought they were banned or something for a bit? Getting $$ from from the poker sites was generally not a problem....it was getting money to the poker sites that the gov't (Go Big Government!! example #24329823098) has tried to halt. Pokerstars still works fine, although I've been playing with my same money from before whatever banking ban was put into place so I'm not sure how hard it is to get money into your account via neteller/paypal, etc.
The Tomcat Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Stupid question ... just joined pokerstars ... can you play for real money? I don't see a cashier option. yes...go to the cashier and go that way....I can't remember, its been awhile since I had to make a deposit.
CosmicBills Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 yes...go to the cashier and go that way....I can't remember, its been awhile since I had to make a deposit. That's why I feel stupid ... I don't see an option for cashier. Where is it?
KD in CA Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 That's why I feel stupid ... I don't see an option for cashier. Where is it? Look for a green button in the lower left corner.
Fan in San Diego Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Stupid question ... just joined pokerstars ... can you play for real money? I don't see a cashier option. Pokerstars . net is for play money. Pokerstars . com is for real money !
Stussy109 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 i play with both bodog and pokerstars. Bodog i have no complaints, although they do have less players, and it took quite soem time to receive my payout check.

I cashed out and got mine in 6 days. Not bad.
