Human Mileage per gallon

A recent study found the average American walks about 900 miles per year.

Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer a year.

That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon.

Kind of makes you proud to be an American.:D

But in this case good is bad. Wouldn't we be better off if we drank 44 gallons of beer a year?

Nice work! I've found that I can even improve those numbers with the stragic use of certain 80-proof fuel additives.

Emissions, well… that's still a bit of an issue.

Moon Shine would surely spike those numbers, eh? 160 proof? :D

just keep in mind that as you increase the gallons of consumption, it will naturally lead to more mileage walked, and not necessarily necessary mileage. We will be wasting alot of MPG due to the staggering and weaving incurred by the increased consumption, so I have to stick with Bluefire here, reduce consumption so there are more hop rhizomes available on the market for those of us to buy.

22 Gallons a year......common man, i blow by that average every other week!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can assure you that I get much less than 41 miles per gallon (hate walking, love beer). Does that make me subject to a beer guzzler tax?

You are and will pay a beer guzzler tax. In addition to that, you will have a tax for hating walking. And a "Who the !@#$ are you Erik calling me on my cell phone" tax. So there.
