Another study found Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of beer a year. That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles to the gallon. Kind of makes you proud to be an American. I've found that I can even improve those numbers with the stragic use of certain 80-proof fuel additives. Emissions, well… that's still a bit of an issue. The Poojer Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 just keep in mind that as you increase the gallons of consumption, it will naturally lead to more mileage walked, and not necessarily necessary mileage. We will be wasting alot of MPG due to the staggering and weaving incurred by the increased consumption, so I have to stick with Bluefire here, reduce consumption so there are more hop rhizomes available on the market for those of us to buy. 22 Gallons a year......common man, i blow by that average every other week!!!!!!!!!!!!!
