Chilly Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Maybe, maybe not. Their success will be determined by how more vital elements of their team perform. That is the way football works. The teams that have success are solid at almost EVERY position, not just the lines.
Dawgg Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Hmmm... should I take the Pats? Seems to be no more spots left
In space no one can hear Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 The Bears are open to the possibility of moving down in the draft. If interested pm me, make an offer of picks using the draft value chart and possibly a throw in player. Thanks.
BB2004 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 Mods, if you could keep this thread here on the main board, it would be appreciated. The draft will occur over on the college football board. I guess i'll start up the annual TBD 3 round mock draft. Rules are simple. Sign up for a team here, and you draft their players. The Bills will make their selection based off of a TBD vote when their turn comes up. Trading is allowed between owners, including players and draft picks. Ideally, we can get all the sign-ups completed this week, and we can start the draft next monday/tuesday. If we dont get enough owners to sign up by thursday, on friday, i'll allow posters to take a second team if they'd like. So if you want in, sign your name and the team you'd like to control. Here's the 1st round order of picks. I'll take the Buccs. 1. Miami - Juan Guzman 2. St. Louis - K-Gun10 3. Atlanta - LynchMob23 4. Oakland - FutureBillsGM 5. Kansas City - Hamdan's Revenge 6. New York Jets - Bill from NYC 7. pats* - 8. Baltimore - buffalo782 9. Cincinnatti - Stewy23 10. New Orleans - ans4e64 11. Buffalo - TBD vote for each selection 12. Denver - boomerjamhead 13. Carolina - Ray Finkle 14.Chicago - In space no one can hear 15. Detroit - MattyT 16. Arizona - SACTOBILLSFAN 17. Minnesota - Buffalo Billiever 18. Houston - BlueFire 19. Philly - Huuuuge Bills 20. Tampa Bay - Ramius 21. Washington - Astrobot 22. Dallas - BillsfaninTexas 23. Pittsburgh - R. Rich? 24. Tennessee - mis3384 25. Seattle - DANCOCK 26. Jacksonville - Steely Dan 27. San Diego - SABURZFAN 28 . San Fran - RobJohnson4life 29. Green Bay - CarolinaBills 30. New York Giants - HIGH MOTOR Teams w/out a 1st round pick Indy - Cleveland - *** ***I see no need to assign Cleveland an owner, as they do not draft until the 4th round. However, if someone wants to take over Cleveland and trade some of their players away (ie-Quinn or Anderson) for a pick(s), they are more than welcome to. I'll take Indy
Huuuge Bills Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I'll take Indy Then all teams (minus Cleveland) are accounted for. See you on draft day.
stewy23 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 See you on draft day. When is draft day? I'm ready to do this now.
MattyT Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 When is draft day? I'm ready to do this now. The original post said Monday/Tuesday of next week. Looking forward to it. It will be over on the College Football board. There was confusion about this last year, so no excuses everybody.

ans4e64 Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 A trade between the Saints and Eagles has been reached. The Eagles will sent CB Lito Sheppard and their 1st round pick (19 overall) to the Saints, in exchange for their 1st round pick (10 overall). Eagles are now drafting at #10 Saints are now drafting at #19
ans4e64 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 The Saints strike again. Saints trade with the Giants this time, for Jeremey Shockey, each team switches 1st round picks. Giants now draft at #19 Saints now draft at #31 and get Jeremy Shockey.

ans4e64 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 wow steal for the saints Yeah, so far I've gotten Lito Sheppard and Jeremy Shockey and havent even given up a pick! lol
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I probably couldn't have gotten much better for shockey. To move up 17 spots helps me target a better positional value player then at the end of the 1st. Besides with such a deep draft a te. We're sure we can get very good value in a later round. It's all about bpa for the giants, with not a hell of a lot of needs.

You guys don't need Shockey, and you moved up in the 1st round for it (btw, from #31 to #19 isn't 17 spots lol). I think it benefits both teams.

I like the trade. I do agree though you're doing a good job filling the saints needs, without giving up all that much.
In space no one can hear Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 The Bears are taking offers for Cedric Benson. Only serious offers please! p.s. I know he's a turd.
Captain Hindsight Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 The Chiefs will entertain offers for any player on thier roster.
Huuuge Bills Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 The Iggles are looking to trade for a #1 WR, PM me with any offers.
