tombstone56 Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 seems kelly s rehab from quad tear is healing ,or so his agent says..one small problem is is never was very fast ,running 4.6- 4.7's routintinely,,rumor from osu say he cant even break a 4.6 now ,his last pro day is the 9th.. is he doesnt post a 4.5 he heading into 2nd round injury history slow times, and "agent speak" sounds like they re covering something up
Fewell733 Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 well if he's that slow he'll be there in the 2nd.

(note- our medical staff is good - it's posters that are the problem in ignoring very real injury problems just because the guy is tall)
seq004 Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 well if he's that slow he'll be there in the 2nd. Yeah, I like Kelly a lot but I have to agree that would drop him to round 2.

Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Well if he's gonna drop that far then he could be there with our second round. However, running 4.6 or 4.7 as a WR make be think that he's like a very fast TE. Now I have no idea what we should do, whether to go after Sweed or Thomas or to go after the Harvey who everyone here seems so high on.
Brandon Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 There have been conflicting reports in the last week or so about his 40 time. The earlier one has him running in the low 4.4s. I guess we'll find out which rumor is correct on Wednesday.
BuffaloBilliever Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 If he hits 4.5 up I will finally agree to taking a DE or CB at 11 and waiting on him until the second
lets_go_bills Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 If he doesn't run in the 4.4s he will drop for sure. But if he runs in the 4.6 range he his headed for the second round. If that's the case you're probably looking at Devin Thomas as the highest rated WR on Buffalo's board.
eball Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I sure can't wait to see how fast this guy runs in his underwear in a straight line without a helmet, pads, or football.
Steely Dan Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I sure can't wait to see how fast this guy runs in his underwear in a straight line without a helmet, pads, or football. Keep your fantasies to yourself please!!! No, seriously, really just keep them to yourself.
Huuuge Bills Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I sure can't wait to see how fast this guy runs in his underwear in a straight line without a helmet, pads, or football. With no one covering him. And while he's rested and fresh as a daisy. And not looking out for a ball being thrown his way. And while he's on an indoor fast-track. Screw everything he's ever done on the field against actual players, THIS is the determining factor.
BravinSeattle Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 All the more reason to draft DE Derrick Harvey and trade back up into the first to grab WR Devin Thomas

Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 All the more reason to draft DE Derrick Harvey and trade back up into the first to grab WR Devin Thomas That wouldn't be half bad but do we really need another DE?
Trader Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 seems kelly s rehab from quad tear is healing ,or so his agent says..one small problem is is never was very fast ,running 4.6- 4.7's routintinely,,rumor from osu say he cant even break a 4.6 now ,his last pro day is the 9th.. is he doesnt post a 4.5 he heading into 2nd round injury history slow times, and "agent speak" sounds like they re covering something up actually that would be a good thing for the bills. Unless he runs a 4.5 and verticals 38+ i do not want him at 11. I would take a WR at 16 and lower but not 11. Its Harvey, Merlin, Rivers or one of the three DB at 11 or it's trade down. Harvey number 1 and Kelly number 2 is fine with me.
cåblelady Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I sure can't wait to see how fast this guy runs in his underwear in a straight line without a helmet, pads, or football. I'd watch.
boomerjamhead Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 I think you mean 'our' right? I think he was mocking the grammar of the original poster actually...
BillsVet Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Guess those arthritic knees are giving him problems in the colder weather. Not worth the risk at 11, if this is true.
The Jokeman Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 All the more reason to draft DE Derrick Harvey and trade back up into the first to grab WR Devin Thomas I'm tired of trading up and much rather trade down. Yet I fully expect us to stay put and take Limas Sweed at pick #11.
