keepthefaith Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Alot of it has to do with how you control the tip of the ball. I played in high school so i hardly call myself an expert but one thing i was good at was throwing into a wind. If you can keep the ball under the wind and with a strong tight spiral that ball isnt going anywhere. For me it was a slight change of motion but i could hit my target 90% of the time You're a lot closer to being an expert than most of us. There was a glaring sign of trouble last year. He wore glove for his first game or two in the cold and wet. The good one's don't wear gloves in the cold. Later TE didn't wear gloves which tells you he's still experimenting. He's a rookie. Can't expect too much.
firstngoal Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Trent does have small hands, I think they were just 8 3/4" which was way smaller than the other qb's coming out of the draft last year. Jamarcus Russell had 10" hands. I remember seeing this on one of the draft sites, but I don't remember which one.
Lurker Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Well, I'd say he shows signs of having the most important attributes (particularly #2) down pretty well.
