Frez Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 I miss that show. ESPN should have went with that another season.
Thailog80 Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 what other possible scenarios could they have had? Man that one team had all of them in one season I thought.

Tux of Borg Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 It hit a little to close to home for the NFL. I'm surprised HBO didn't pick it up.

/dev/null Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 playmakers = soap opera with football on the side needs alot more cowbell too
JAMIEBUF12 Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 i liked that show too!aparently it was a little to real for the n.f.l because they are the ones that put the pressure on e.s.p.n to cut the show.since the show has ended we have had jamal lewis getting sentenced to jail when the season ends, players from miami getting arrested for beating on their wives(randy mcmichael)a bunch of players got suspended for doing steriods.now the nfl was saying this was an unfair portrayal of their league, but truth is truth!
EndZoneCrew Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 thank the NoFunLeague for taking it off....why....because it cast a shadow over their "great" image!!!! sincerely, Ray Lewis, Jamal Lewis, Rae Carruth, Randy Moss, Leonard Little
R. Rich Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 Us old timers didn't like the negative press either. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a search to continue. Regards, TMEP
