millbank Posted October 15, 2004 Author Posted October 15, 2004 Small article about Bobby Shaw meeting with Patriots: Veteran receiver Bobby Shaw, who was released by Buffalo Wednesday, was at Gillette Stadium yesterday meeting with the Pats coaches and other personnel. If all goes well, it's possible Shaw could be in uniform in time for Sunday's game against Seattle. Bobby Shaw

Thus, they are attempting to sign him. Face it. The Pats are best at utilizing all of their players and getting as much out of each player as it humanly possible. If Shaw signs on with them and he still has some ability, you can bet that the Pats coaches will find a way to utilize it.
