DreamOnDan Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I can't recall who, but some pundit after mid-season commented that they played the dullest football he could remember. I know they were in at least two games where the 1st half took little more than an hour... That was a very good assessment. The Bills are boring. No doubt. But I love them anyways. It would be great to have some talent on offense.
stuckincincy Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 It would be great to have some talent on offense. A little pizazz would be nice! I've always felt they should use Roscoe more. The musings here about a trade for CIN's Chad Johnson and this or that draft pick...if it came to a player as part of a deal, they wouldn't want Kelsay - they would want Roscoe.

stuckincincy Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 they would want Roscoe. That's right. BTW, I am painting my kitchen...ceiling, walls, and cabinets...with Valspar and Glidden paints. Just wanted to let you know.
keepthefaith Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I find your screename contradicts most of your posts You're right. I've become very cynical since about halfway through last season. A lifelong bills fan, living in Chicago for the past 14 years now and watching "DIck Jauron Act II" is painful. I'm clearly in a slump. Need something or someone to pull me out of it.
Lurker Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Adding one rookie WR to this team a thread like this in March 2008 is like peeing in Lake Ontario and trying to raise the water level. Fixed.

Frez Posted March 28, 2008 Author Posted March 28, 2008 Fixed. Do you have a much more important thread to add? Hey, how about another mock draft thread. Why don't you post yours and we can go over it 150 times?
Adam Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Would anyone be crushed if we took OT Jake Long from Michigan? I don't think we would, but he would be a major improvement over Walker, particularly in the run game
stuckincincy Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 If I was near you I'd gladly give you a helping hand. Why, Thank you. BTW, the Shur-Line edge products are tops for producing a clean line between wall and ceiling...
Frez Posted March 28, 2008 Author Posted March 28, 2008 Why, Thank you. BTW, the Shur-Line edge products are tops for producing a clean line between wall and ceiling... Make sure you clean them first really good before you paint!
The Dean Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 So, it's decided. Before the season starts, before preseason, before the OTAs, before the Draft...the Bills 2008 offense sucks. Interesting.
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 So, it's decided. Before the season starts, before preseason, before the OTAs, before the Draft...the Bills 2008 offense sucks. Interesting. WE'RE DOOOOMED!!!! And it's only March

Interesting. We're going for a Expect the worst philosophy this year. Better then those Kool Aid drinking winos
The Dean Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 We're going for a Expect the worst philosophy this year. Better then those Kool Aid drinking winos Same thing, in my book.
Stenbar Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Same thing, in my book. A wise old man once answered my question of why are you always happy..He replied "The secret to happiness is low expectations"
The Dean Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 A wise old man once answered my question of why are you always happy..He replied "The secret to happiness is low expectations" I use the same basic line, actually. I call myself a "happy pessimist". However, when it comes to being a fan, I like to take as objective a look as I am capable of...and try to give "my team" the benefit of the doubt. It doesn't always work, though.

Alaska Darin Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 It's nice to know we're writing off this season BEFORE the draft even takes place. That's definitely a new record.
The Dean Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 Let's hope the Bills have a high powered offensive kinda draft eh! That would be nice. But, I am one who sincerely believes the talent on offense was HORRIBLY misused by Fairchild.
