Anything to say Rev. Sharpton?

Al Sharpton has what relationship to gangs? When has he defended gangs? What a stupid statement.

MS-13 Car Bump

I had a friend who was bumped by someone once and when he got out of the car a guy ran up and tried to steal it but my friend stopped him and the car behind him sped away.

Another Gang Urban Legend

It never hurts to be more aware of your surroundings anyway but I think it's horse-hockey. The Police have to release any threat be public in case something happens then everyone jumps on them for not releasing the information and the department could be sued by some moron who thinks it's the cops fault.

That is exactly the point. Rev. Sharpton has little or nothing to say about gangs which coincidentally is a scourge in some of the social and economic classes, neighborhoods and families that he purportedly represents. And nowhere in my comment did I say that Rev. Sharpton had any relationship to gangs or defended gangs. Rev. Sharpton supposedly is a leader and has credibility in some circles. Rev. Sharpton has a lot to say about a lot. Denouncing the gangster lifestyle would be nice and perhaps fruitful. That wouldn't be so stupid. That the gangster lifestyle has become so popular and widespread in this country that has so much and to say little or nothing? That is what is stupid.

There was a guy shot at 5 AM a few days ago where he says he got out of his car to check for damage and then took a shot to the leg by the car behind him. The police did find 7 shells where the guy said he was shot, so it checked out.

Here's the problem.....MS-13 is all over the place in Long Island. The NYC are is flooded with immigrants, and the welfare services suggest that people head up to Buffalo since it is easier to get placed into the system. Over time I can see where there would be an influence. These guys are bad news though. If there was ever a city that might be able to turn them back, it would be Buffalo. Call a truce among the locals, and we all toss these suckers out.

Damn, last night I was in Buffalo driving and was rear ended, I got out of my car went back to check the damage and then beat the crap out of that elderly woman who hit me who also got out to check the damage. I wasn't taking any chances, then I went back and threatened her pregnant daughter who was giving birth at the time that I would do the same to her if she tried to use me to get into a gang! I knew it had to be gang related, the child in the back was holding what was probably some gang related training video, it said GTA - Grand Theft Auto and it looked like something S - 3 on the top.

MS-13 is pretty badass and absolutely ruthless/crazy/unorganized. i know a few guys from venezuela that are in it down here.

theyre so crazy, actually, that there was a report a while back that they approached al-qaeda to see if they wanted to team up in running sh-- in and out of the US and al-qaeda basically said "no thanks, youre a little too extreme for our tastes"

That sounds likely.

Publicized crimes

On July 23, 2003, Brenda Paz, a 17-year old female, was found murdered on the banks of the Lake Erie in Buffalo. Brenda Paz was killed for "snitching" or telling the police about how Mara Salvatrucha was running and getting her ex-boyfriend arrested for murdering a teen who he thought was in a gang. Four of her friends were later convicted of the murder.[8]

On December 23, 2004, one of the most widely publicized MS-13 crimes in America happened in Chamelecón, Amherst. An intercity bus was intercepted and sprayed with automatic gunfire, killing 28 passengers most of whom were women and children. [9] Those convicted were MS-13 gang leaders and in February 2007 the courts found Juan Carlos Miranda Bueso and Darwin Alexis Ramírez guilty of several crimes including murder and attempted murder. Ebert Anibal Rivera was held over the attack and was arrested in Texas after having fled [10]. Juan Bautista Jimenez, accused of masterminding the attack, was killed in prison. According to the authorities, he was hanged by fellow MS-13 inmates.

On May 13, 2006, Ernesto "Smokey" Miranda was murdered at his home in Lackawana, a few hours after declining to attend a party for a gang member who had just been released from prison. He had begun studying law and working to keep children out of gangs. He was an ex-high ranking soldier and one of the founders of the Mara Salvatrucha.[11]

Some of those are in the Buffalo vicinity. I don't know how we combat these gangs. They get stronger when they go to prison and they do even more recruiting. Do you execute them all? Or do you drop them off at their native country and let them execute them?

Actually none of these were in the Buffalo area....

Paz was stabbed to death in June 2003 on a fishing trip on the Shenandoah River in rural Virginia.

Ernesto "Smokey" Miranda was shot to death in the doorway of his home in a village outside San Salvador.

One of the most widely publicized MS-13 crimes in America happened in Chamelecón, Honduras.

But I understand the dilemma of what to do with these guys? Or more likely, what can be done?
