BillsWatch Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/story/10740525 The NFL's Thursday night season opener will match the Super Bowl-champion New York Giants and the Washington Redskins, with the game possibly starting an hour-and-a-half earlier to avoid clashing with the Republican National Convention. The Super Bowl winner traditionally hosts the game. The Redskins' participation was confirmed by a person familiar with the NFL schedule who spoke on condition of anonymity because the league has not announced it. Is that the best they got? Conflict with political convention so they include Washington. Great. Washinton is also in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 When does the entire schedule come out again? Can't remember....AGAIN!!!

PastaJoe Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I'm suprised they didn't do the reverse and move the convention up earlier. How's McCain going to stay up that late?
