stevestojan
I am having a big issue with a seller on eBay... now he is claiming he couldn't send an item because the post office is closed due to good friday. Is that true? I search google and got conflicting answers.

stevestojan
The post office is open today. Wow. I saw your name and figured this would be a smart ass remark. Kudos for being more mature than me (which isn't saying much). I now have to drive to Rochester to kill this guy.
Arkady Renko
I'll add as proof that I got mail today. The stock market is closed, I will note. Maybe some other financial institutions are as well (perhaps that is the source of the confusion).
Buftex
Speaking of Ebay troubles, for the third time in a few months, I had won an item, paid for it, and then the seller was "no longer registered"...I love Ebay, and have had very few problems with it over the years, but the few times I have had an issue like this, it seems hard to resolve. This was only a few dollars, so it is not a huge deal, but in order to get a refund from Paypal, I have to depend on the non-registered user to reply to their query. It doesn't make sense to me. In the two previous instances, I still received my item, but this one has been weeks...I am not getting a good feeling.... BTW- yes, the post office was open today! In the two previous instances, I still received my item, but this one has been weeks...I am not getting a good feeling.... BTW- yes, the post office was open today! I buy alot of cellphones. This guy had a positive 15 feedback with no negatives. I bought a phone for $300+. While it was on auction i sent an email asking what condition it was in, and I got a very fast reply. Then after I paid... nothing. Then after two days, I get an email from a different eBay member stating he bought this same model phone from this guy a week before and never heard from the guy. So then I knew I was screwed. I immediately put a dispute in with paypal. Then I start doing research. Long story short, I get his name, phone #, address, and AOL instant messanger name. I hit him at every angle. Finally, he starts to talk and says he was out of town for a week. Then today he promised he would send overnight to me. I get home to an email that said "oops sorry, forgot it was good friday, and the post office is closed." Very long story short, I explained I knew where he lived (in Rochester) and if my money wasnt refunded, or i didn't have this phone by tomorrow, I was calling his local police department. SHOCKING how quick that put the wheels in motion (I'm literally going back and forth with him right now.) He said he couldn't refund because paypal would let him due to the dispute. He said he would send the item right now overnight from a UPS store. I checked and the UPS store is open until 7pm. However, they charge just under an arm and a ball for overnight. He said he would email me with a tracking # in half hour. I'm convinced he's either going to the Verizon store and going to buy this phone, or he's sending me a pipe bomb. Either way, I'll have a story to tell.
Cornerville
I am having a big issue with a seller on eBay... now he is claiming he couldn't send an item because the post office is closed due to good friday. Is that true? I search google and got conflicting answers. I was there. It was. He is a BS artist and needs to be reported to Ebay.
