Bishop Hedd Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 Or does it aid it? Bush's State Department might be in trouble.
VABills Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 What did Obama do now that he making Clinton, Bush, Mccain the fall guy for?

John Adams Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Does this effectively end his political career? Why would it hurt his career. Based on the (low on details) story released thus far, people at the State Department were fired for "breaching" (whatever that means) his passport. Doesn't sound like Obama's in trouble. Sounds like some mid-level folks in the State Department are. If they were feeding info to a campaign, it could hurt that campaign but it doesn't seem like it will hurt Obama. In fact, these sorts of things usually help.

Listen and wait?
Chef Jim Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 How the hell does this hurt his political career. Unless there are several stamps in it from the middle east right before 9/11.

Chef Jim Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politi..._demands_p.html I asked you a question, you give me a link without an aswer. Great job.
Bishop Hedd Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 I asked you a question, you give me a link without an aswer. Great job. Wait, who knows what's to come of this. Will Obama use it for sympathy that Bush's big governmernt is afraid of him? After all it should be obvious that they consider him the dem nominee. or... Will they actually find something?

After all it should be obvious that they consider him the dem nominee. or... Will they actually find something? Why didn't he just release his passport with the rest of any financials, like he wants Hillary to do? Hell that should all be public record for anyone running for president.

Bishop Hedd Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 If any political camp had anything to do with this it would be Clinton. Ya never know...but this story is just breaking so far it seems pretty low level. But then so did Watergate.......

Bishop Hedd Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 http://www.washingtontimes.com/apps/pbcs.d.../541139809/1001 Newt Gingrich and Sean Hannity think it's serious enough to warrant investigation. That says a lot right there...until you fully realize the ineptitude of the Justice department
DC Tom Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Ya never know...but this story is just breaking so far it seems pretty low level. But then so did Watergate....... The holdup at the convenience store down the street last week was low-level, too...does Watergate make that bigger? A security system worked as designed and caught people doing something they weren't supposed to be doing for which they were punished. Are we going to investigate sh-- that works properly now?

A security system worked as designed and caught people doing something they weren't supposed to be doing for which they were punished. Are we going to investigate sh-- that works properly now? Yeah. My guess is these were two nosy and curious people and they got caught. Seems like a BFD issue but it can't hurt Obama--I'd prefer that he express his outrage and then let it be done. Unless this is directly tied to a campaign, there are bigger issues in the election. C'mon RkFas--I mean Pasta Joe: there must be some anti-Obama spin here you're missing.
Bishop Hedd Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 Like this is going to hurt Obama. No it's more than likely to hurt the country. As you're prone to saying ever heard of a little thing called the Constitution dingbat?
