SilverNRed Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Boondock Saints was one of the most remarkably sh------- movies I've ever seen. Between this and the Transformers sequel, we should maybe consider burning down our movie theatres after this year.
ofiba Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Boondock Saints was one of the most remarkably sh------- movies I've ever seen. Boondock Saints is one of the most overrated movies of ALLLLLL TIME!
ofiba Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I cant believe what im hearing Concept is good in theory, just thought the movie is overrated. It's not terrible, but it is SOOO over hyped by everyone.
SilverNRed Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Concept is good in theory, just thought the movie is overrated. It's not terrible, but it is SOOO over hyped by everyone. I'm saying it was terrible.
The Dean Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Boondock Saints is one of the most overrated movies of ALLLLLL TIME! It's no Reservoir Dogs, that's for sure.
ofiba Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I'm saying it was terrible. It's certainly closer to terrible than it is to worthy of a sequel.
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Boondock Saints is one of the most overrated movies of ALLLLLL TIME! My brother in law made me watch it. What a steaming turd.
GG Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Boondock Saints was one of the most remarkably sh------- movies I've ever seen. Between this and the Transformers sequel, we should maybe consider burning down our movie theatres after this year. Forget Boondock Saints, the real film is Overnight, the documentary of making Boondock Saints and is a study in self-destruction.

Sorry, but you're insane IMO to compare Boondock Saints with anything remotely close to that Transformers crap. Not only did the movie have some of the best graphics of that time, it also had a compelling story line to go with it. You really either must have seen very, very few movies in your life or wayyyyy too many to make a statement like that. Gimme a break.

Lt. Dan's Revenge Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Boondock Saints...And mind you, it was also a low budget film...
ofiba Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Boondock Saints...And mind you, it was also a low budget film... What about the Dafoe gay scene? I mean come on! What was that??
Dibs Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 What about the Dafoe gay scene? I mean come on! What was that?? Hilarious.

Yeah, either that or it was just a really, really stupid movie trying to cash in on Pulp Fiction's popularity.
Andrew in CA Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 One of the worst movies I've ever seen. Nothing saving about it, a Tarantino-wannabe flick. The only people that I know that like it are Irish Catholics from Boston. Just a terrible movie.
Dibs Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I tend to think that a lot of people don't 'get it'. It was a stylized OTT action comedy in the vein of Desperado.....not Pulp Fiction. All those thinking that it is meant to be like PF are perhaps missing what it is actually meant to be......a bit of fun. I suppose just as I will never understand how people laugh & laud comedies such as The Naked Gun, 40 year old Virgin or Anchorman there is bound to be plenty of people who will never understand how people like myself laugh & laud Boondock Saints. To each his own.
stevestojan Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I love Boondock Saints! Psyched to see the second one. Sweet!
dib Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 Thank God the writers strike is over. Which sequel is next?
