Tipster19 Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Of all places it is being held in Toronto this weekend. I wonder if that has contributed to us being very patient, especially concerning the wide receiver help that we need. Although that these athletes play a different but similiar kind of football doesn't mean that their size and speed isn't applicable to American football. There are two wide receivers that are interesting prospects. Mike Bradwell is 6' 3"/200 lbs. and Samuel Giguere. He supposed to be "a freak of nature". He's only 6' 0"/215 lbs. but with remarkable wheels. i wouldn't want for us to pass up on someone who could be potentially special just because he doesn't fit the 6 foot plus criteria. Keep in mind that Joe Horn came from the C.F.L. and I'm sure that there were others that I'm not aware of. Here's a link that mention a little on both of them. http://www.cfl.ca/index.php?module=newser&...25&writer=8
Tipster19 Posted March 17, 2008 Author Posted March 17, 2008 Here's a small update from this weekend's Combine. It wouldn't surprise me that Buffalo grabs a draft prospect or even an actual player from the CFL simply for the promotion aspect. It certainly wouldn't hurt the Bills' image of having one of the CFL's higher profiled player/prospect on our roster. http://www.cfl.ca/index.php?module=newser&...y&nid=23244
