Chandler#81
From the Courier Express: "Head Coach John Rauch admitted yesterday that the all rookie backfield experiment hasn't gone as well as he had hoped. While all eyes have been on O.J. Simpson, James Harris has struggled mightily at times and Bill 'Earthquake' Enyart is still learning the pro game. This coincides with Jack Kemp having fully recovered from a pre season injury and will take over under center Sunday, when the Bills host the Denver Broncos at War Memorial Stadium." Jack will light up the Bronco's. I see Moses having a field day against them!

Chandler#81
Harris...another nifty Bills trade-away... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Harris_...rican_football) I didn't realize the Rams dumped him just to give Joe Willie his #12. That's as cheesy as creating a thread that appears to come from way back in the past, just because of a computer glitch.. Id love to see a post from Sammavaca about a specific game from the original Bills.. Hint

I'm Spartacus
If Harris can't go Sunday, look for the Bills to insert Marlin Brisoe at QB. He was a QB in college & emergency QB with the Bronco's!!!! GO BILLS!

Chandler#81
Briscoe was a heck of an athlete, and is a heck of a man. http://www.collegefootball.org/news.php?id=545 Great article! His routinely incredible circus catches gave Shaw ROY in '70. That's saying something, considering Dennis would be out of the league in a few short years. bdelma
Dennis kinda floated the ball at times. That was his problem.
Spiderweb
Dennis kinda floated the ball at times. That was his problem. "Kinda" ??? Now that's a classic understatement, He made Pennington look like a strong armed gunslinger. His best pass was the "floater"..... Yet, for that one brief period (a single year), he did manage to inject hope and enthusiasm however short lived it may have been.
