Simon Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 If you want to know why Bulluck said what he did, watch a play that comes a few plays before Henry gets hurt. The Bills run a blast play over the right side and Bulluck comes up to fill the backside lane. There's nothing there for Travis so he cuts it back and heads right into the arms of Bulluck who is standing there squared up and broken down for the tackle. Unfortunately for Mr Bulluck, what happens is that Travis just runs his ass over; we're talking bigpop/flatonhisback/legsintheair run over. If I was Bulluck I might have said the same thing after getting mowed like that, in the hopes that next time Travis might not make me look like a blow up doll with three erotic orifices of love. Cya

Simon Posted August 23, 2004 Author Posted August 23, 2004 If I had a dime for every time I've read that on this board... You could send it to Scott so we wouldn't have to worry about server spikes from 11:00-11:20 that were topping out at 5.69! What did he say? He was asked by a reporter about the Travis/Willis non-situation (more original and insightful reporting I guess) and said something about how Travis was the man and they weren't worried about Willis when he was in there, etc. If you look around the board, you'll find the quote pasted in a couple different places. Guest Guest Posted August 23, 2004 Posted August 23, 2004 He had intresting comment for Willis that I agreed with. "(McGahee) doesn't hit the hole as hard as Travis. To me, he didn't really pose the threat when he was back there. But he's a young back. He has time." McGahee clearly isn't 100% yet.
