JuanGuzman
Anything Dallas does regarding Julius Jones has nothing to do with salary-cap space. They have plenty of cap room to do whatever they want. They don't think he's an elite runner. They're likely going to ship him off on draft day.-- Dallas Morning News

Louie Armstrong
We're going to be drafting a RB on the first day anyways. No need for some cowboy cast-off.

HurlyBurly51
We're going to be drafting a RB on the first day anyways. No need for some cowboy cast-off. No, but it introduces new competition into teams looking for a RB.
ThreeBillsDrive
No, but it introduces new competition into teams looking for a RB. The more RBs still on the market, the better for the teams still in the market for one.
DanInSouthBuffalo
Well, we traded McGahee for the same reason. And would put Dallas in the exact same position that the Bills are in---needing a true #1 guy. Jones is versatile but I don't think I'd give up a lot to get him. Jones would be a solid #2 back for most teams.
Max997
there is a reason Barber got all the important carries for the cowboys the last two years....Jones seems to always be taken down by the first guy and unless he breaks a big run really doesnt perform as a #1 back should I didnt like him coming out of college and I still dont like him M.Lynch is the answer
JStranger76
That's about it. Never understood why anyone thought he could be a #1 back.
Oneonta Buffalo Fan
He would be a good pick up but I say stay the course and draft a RB.
Band of Merriman
I live in Dallas and this hasn't even been mentioned on any of the local sports talk radio stations. Jones is a decent back, but I agree with some of the criticism others have mentioned regarding him. I wouldn't want to give up more than 1 of our 3rds for him. IMO it's unlikely that Dallas would settle for that little. If not I'd rather see us take a back with our 2nd pick, unless AP happens to slide to us at 12 (and that's just not going to happen). BuffaloBilliever
I like Julius... a good open field, long distance guy, with A-Train to pound the ball? I'm a fan... I'd take him, but not worth draft picks.
