CosmicBills Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 Realistically, Foulke is only in to keep it close in case of a miracle in the top of the ninth. With the travel day, it won't affect their bullpen. But they are definately on the ropes. 69295 yeah, I didn't mean it would wear him out, it just gives the Yanks more at bats against him which means they know him a little bit better for later on in the series... Same is true for the Sox with Mo
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 The Sox are done. They aren't on it, emotionally they look flat for some reason.

Johnny Coli Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 I would like to see Ruben batting in this spot 69296 Agreed. That was a weak out by Lofton. He got his homerun last night. You're not going to catch lightening in a bottle twice.
CosmicBills Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 Alright, load it up for ARod!!!!! Come on baby, it's time to earn your paycheck! A Basehit seals it!
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 Shhh! Don't give 'em any incentives! There's 3 outs left! 69300 LOL I don't think they are listening or care what I think. 'Stros got a two run homer, 10-6 now going into the bottom of the 8th.
CosmicBills Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 3-1 to Arod!!!! COME ON!!!!! STAND UP AND CHEER!
Pete Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 This is friggin nerve racking. I can hardly watch. Lets go Mariano!
Johnny Coli Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 Pretty solid out by Foulke. I thought he was in over his head there. Questionable strike two call saved his a$$. It's in Mo's hands, now.

Pete Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 Very questionable strike 2. That ball was low and inside. It should be 4-2 Yanks with the bases chucked for Sheff
Johnny Coli Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 This is friggin nerve racking. I can hardly watch. Lets go Mariano! 69312 Yup. You get to this point in the game and you're afraid to breathe so you don't jinx it. I've had to take a leak for over an hour-and-a-half. My eyes are floating, and evrything looks yellow.
