Captain Hindsight Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Does anyone know anything about this guy. Like size and 40 times, i saw a video of him against ohio state, hes fast hits the hole hard but he's from Northern Illinois. Is he worth a look?

Is he worth a look? oddly enough i was just wondering the same thingearlier today. heres what i found. not to bad! i really hope we can grab him late. say 6th round or so. http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/2007/wolfe_garrett
The Cincinnati Kid Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I still like Tony Hunt. He is bigger and played better competition in the Big 10. Wolfe seems like he could be a good addition to the Bills in the later rounds though Pepsi.
Bills#23Iowa Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Yeah, I mentioned something about this guy, a month or so ago. He is small, and is from Northern Illinois, but so is Micheal Turner.
ROCCEO Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Exactly how small is Michael Turner again? oh yeah, 237 lbs. Tiny
mendezownsyou Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Im pretty sure he meant that Turner was from Northen Illinois, Turner's a big guy.
Ennjay Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 FWIW: Tiki Barber's about 5-8. He was too small until someone else got hurt and the Giants had to play him.
DanInSouthBuffalo Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 FWIW: Tiki Barber's about 5-8. He was too small until someone else got hurt and the Giants had to play him. Tiki is 5-10/205. Wolfe is too small to be a RB but he could end up as the next Dante Hall who is 5-8/187.
BuckeyeBill Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Garrett Wolf is ellisive and very quick. He has that second gear and if you miss him at the line of scrimage, he will probably take it for a LOOONG gainer. The problem is that he is small and quite light on his feet. Short only 5'7", one big hit and he could be over. Of course, that's what they said about Tiki Barber, Barry Sanders and a guy named Thurman Thomas.

I met Tiki Barber his second year with the Giants at a promotional event. No question he's 5-8 no matter how he's listed. . . . which I suppose could mean Wolfe is really 5-2.
Captain Hindsight Posted April 15, 2007 Author Posted April 15, 2007 just found this about him in a draft mag. Wolfe fits best as a specialist, won't be an everydown back. Scouts must take notice of his toughness and productivity in traffic he will make a Nfl roster as backup or 3rd down option. Possible round 5-7 i wouldnt mind us spending our third on Irons or Tony hunt and grabbing wolfe in the 6th What do you guys think?
The Cincinnati Kid Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I like the idea Pepsi. I think that would be really good for the Bills backfield and JP. Wolfe and either Hunt or Irons could be a potent backfield with the A-Train there to clean up any mess and providing insurance.
