CNNSI > ESPN

This is really nothing new. The day after a Sabres win, you will see a picture of them on the front of CNNSI's NHL webpage. Then go to ESPN's NHL page, the won't even mention the win. They will usually have a picture of Philly or Detroit.

Exactly. Which is what makes CNNSI > ESPN

As much as I hate CNN's news coverage (their news is as "Fair and Balanced" as Fox ), at least their sports coverage is respectable. Unlike ESPN and their flavor of the month reporting

I think you mean Pittsburgh. Or, specifically, Sidney Crosby.

Hmm, the guy in the photo is Joe DeLuca.. is that who I think it is?

I'll take a wild stab and guess that it's...Joe DeLuca???

Cant be. It says that DeLuca created the sign. And that sign reads "we believe", not "winning destroys the franchise"

Yes, you're right. ESPN is a Crosby lovefest.

While you are 100% right, the real problem with the NHL over the last few years is that there aren't enough canadian and american hockey stars. Think mid 90's: Gretzky, Lemmiux, Messier, Yzerman. Crosby is a star talent and he and other young guys could help bring up the league as a whole.

This year the Sabres had three all stars starters, including the all-star MVP, all of which are American or Canadian. Are you saying it benefits the NHL when ESPN ignores players like that to dwell on one player almost constantly?
