ndirish1978 Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2836410 Released by the Broncos. I know he has injury concerns but it might be nice to sign him "on the cheap" in case he is able to return to form. At the very least he would be a decent backup.

Yeah he might be worth a shot.
ROCCEO Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 ON THE CHEAP!!! Investing in a 30ish LB with neck problems is pretty stupid but when AW is healthy hes among the best at his position. Also, not passing a physical is never good. This is a major blow to the broncos D.
Heard of Buffalo Bills Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 After reading the espn article its highly unlikely that Al will play again unless he can pass a physical. With his history of injuries especially the neck, the odds of him passing a physical diminish greatly. I say that his career is more than likely over with. I don't believe that Broncos would release a guy of Wilsons caliber and career ( five time Pro Bowler) and knowing that he could pass a physical and still play for Denver.
