Phil Indablanc
The post regarding teams playing at a disadvantage when facing a team coming off of a bye inspired me to dust off my Thursday night football plan. Here it is: Eight bye weeks during the middle of the season. Bye weeks are by division. (All four teams are off) All teams are scheduled to play a division rival the week after the bye week. One of those games is played on Thursday and the other on Sunday. The benefits: Nobody is at a disadvantage or advantage in the game after their bye week. Thursday games are interesting division match ups I get to see more football. Thoughts?

If it makes them scads of money, they'll take it under advisement.
