USMCBillsFan
Now the anchor for my local news station. As soon as I saw him I could've sworn he used to do the sports in Buffalo when I was a kid. Am I wrong?

X. Benedict
Yes he was. I remember him on Buffalo TV. WGR I think before Ed Kilgore. Not before Ed Kilgore, but he was on channel 2. Early or Mid-90's. I think Allison Rosati is in Chicago now. She was a cutie.
Realist
Now the anchor for my local news station. As soon as I saw him I could've sworn he used to do the sports in Buffalo when I was a kid. Am I wrong? Went to Topsail Island a few of years ago, turned on the 11:00 news and there was Wes. I was surprised because at the time I didn't even know he left Buffalo. Buftex
Not before Ed Kilgore, but he was on channel 2.Early or Mid-90's. I think he was there way before that...like early to mid-80's...I moved from Buffalo in 1988, and he had been on the air in WNY, long before that.... Wes Goforth was in Buffalo 89 to 94. But Mike DeGeorge could have kicked his ass and I hope he did.
smokinandjokin
I saw Channel 4's sportscaster Dennis Williams out at a bar on Chippewa after a Sabres game about a month ago. I talked to him for about 10 minutes. He was BOMBED, to the point of swaying, but he was a nice guy. I played in a charity golf tourney once and Stu Boyer was in my foursome. He's a good dude, we had a fun time.
Lurker
Goforth was the weekend sports guy at Channel 2. He left because he realized Kilgore was a 'lifer' and he'd never get a shot a the weekday sports gig. Pretty good talking head, as I remember him... That is strange, I will take your word for it...but I remember him well, and moved away the year before you are saying he came to Buffalo... ExiledInIllinois
I think Allison Rosati is in Chicago now. She was a cutie. She sure is in Chicago, NBC. Had some kids and is huge now... Literally... Hey... Nothin' wrong with that if you find it cute...
