The Tomcat Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 I'm glad we got a Monday at home. Hopefully the drunks won't embarrass us.

BuffaloWings Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Hopefully you won't embarrass the drunks ! Hopefully, the team won't embarrass us!! I'm utterly shocked that we got a Monday night game. Yeah, it's what the Sunday night package was, but it's Monday night!!
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 do you guys remember the last home MNF game we had? The last one I can recall was against Denver when Shane Conlan tore up his knee--which must have been more than ten years ago.
ESPeculatioN Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Should be a Cowboy love fest. I can't wait to see how many times ESPN shows Super Bowl 27 and 28 highlights.
5 Wide Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 NICE! The average high temp for Oct 8th is 63 and the low is 43. Might make for a nice night to watch a football game

Bills over Denver, 27-20. That game was 5,000 fans short of a sellout. According to the Bills' media guide (where I found the above info), Conlan only played for the Bills through 1992. It may be a typo, however...I thought he played in Buffalo longer than that. And I just realized something else...I believe October 8 is Columbus Day, so it's a holiday, too.
Cornerville Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 This sucks. Dealing with ESPN announcers is a joke. I might just listen to this game on the radio

I might be confusing games then--i.e., I remember that MNF game, but perhaps Conlan was injured in another one. In any event, 13 years!!!!

OCinBuffalo Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 This is great - but it would have been better to get Dallas later in the season - make em freeze. Happy anyway And, yeah Schumer must have scared them - he can be a real prick when he wants to.
RayFinkle Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 ...And, yeah Schumer must have scared them - he can be a real prick when he wants to. The ONLY reason Buffalo has a home Monday Night game is because Schumer bitched and had some"meetings" with NFL execs regarding Buffalo and their schedule.
Cornerville Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Can you possibly be more or a buzzkill? I just stick to my guns with ESPN that's all. I hate them.
