zow2 Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 I'd like to see Aiken and then Haddad get in there for Reed.
Like A Mofo Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Shaw isn't worth a 7th rounder. 68639 I agree...id love to think he was....but he isnt
Rico Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 He is worth nothing so you get nothing... But it is interesting... Why are they opening up a space on the roster... 68640 It can only mean the Sape-ster is coming back!
MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Yes never wanted us to get this guy from Jacksonville...He stunk up the jointin Pgh and Jax...now he can add the bills to his list.... May be the crucial drop he had in the final drive to get the first down made him the scapegoat. 68661 It certainly didn't help. Neither did that dropped 2-point conversion against the breasts last year.
gantrules Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Moulds, Evans, Reed and Aiken.... And how often are we going to see 4 wide sets?
erynthered Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Bad spelling never hangs aroundWhen he hears Alaska Darin’s sound. "Here I come to save the day" That means that Evil Nerd has spotted prey. Yes sir, when you post with poor grammar, Evil Nerd will drop hammer. On PPP or on the Wall, He’ll let you know when you have dropped the ball. 68648 Get back to work........
Bill from NYC Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Well, his dancing will be tough to do without (even when the team is trailing miserably). Maybe we can take a look at Michael Jackson.
stuckincincy Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 the only thing that bugs me was why he was not cut during camp. we are liable for his full year salary because he was on the opening day roster. he should have never made it past 8/15. 68658 Ouch!
Bill from NYC Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 It certainly didn't help. Neither did that dropped 2-point conversion against the breasts last year. 68666 I have been blasting TD for a few weeks now, but this move I applaud. I am also hoping that MM was behind it, and perhaps stepping out of TD'd shadow just a little.
todd Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 well then I'll just have to say that this was stupid. more questionable moves...i don't get it. 68631 I have to agree here. Not stupid to get rid of him, but stupid to get rid of him without getting anything in return. Of course, we probably don't know the whole story. Unless he did something bad (like missing meetings, screwing Donahoe's daughter, etc), I don't understand the reasoning behind it. Maybe we'll find out more from someone's inside sources.
Guest goodie Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Now that Shaw is gone it's on to the Superbowl - our problems are solved!!
stuckincincy Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 I can't applaud an idiot that brought in poor, high-priced employees just because he has seen some sort of "light". Would you praise him if he managed your own finances and career?
KD in CA Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Get back to work........ 68669 I thought it was a worthwhile use of ten minutes!
nodnarb Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 We get nothing. The answer for the vacated roster spot? Drum roll.... Drew Haddad. WooHoo! You can't convince me that they couldn't get a FUGGIN 7th rounder for him...

He does the moonwalk after a 5 yard catch when the team is down 20 pts. Not only that, he will fumble away 2 point conversions (for the game), drop passes and sometimes gets hit in the head with them. What are you willing to give up?" GMs: "Have a nice day." It is that simple.

You can't convince me that they couldn't get a FUGGIN 7th rounder for him... 68716 I'm sorry, but I have to question whether or not GM's even make trades for 7th rounders? Unless the trade involved more than one guy, I'm not sure a trade for a 7th rounder is worth the paperwork.
kegtapr Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 What the hell was the point of that? What does it solve? Umm......nothing.
Guest Coach Mularkey Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 When Mularkey confirmed that Shaw was released did he have to use a coaches challenge? Or did he figure it out himself?
