MadBuffaloDisease Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 It's obviously something we know nothing about, i.e. something said or done behind closed doors. Shaw has had his share of bad plays, is over 30, making a lot more than a younger guy would, and probably dropped to 5th on the depth chart.
Guest BillsRebound Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Travis didn't practice today because he was on the phone crying to Dr. Z about how Willis outplaying him last week was a slap in the face.
Rico Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Addition by subtraction. 68619 I agree, keep 'em coming TD!
nodnarb Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 well then I'll just have to say that this was stupid. more questionable moves...i don't get it.
kasper13 Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Bledsoe & Shaw for Brett Favre & Javon Walker would have been a good deal.
kota Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 I am sorry never liked the guy and is to much of a show boat for an average receiver.

fatKID_II Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 He is worth nothing so you get nothing... But it is interesting... Why are they opening up a space on the roster... Maybe they are going to do a trade with Raiders... ESPN mentioned that Rice might get traded... TH for Rice & 2nd round draft pick (ok I seriously don't believe that, but what the hell)
Bill from NYC Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 A football player who sucks was cut from a football team, AND the team gains salary cap room in 05. I fail to see a problem.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 He had no value......dat was one uh Donahooey's Schteeler kidz.
stuckincincy Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 I wonder what his contract is like? That could have been a factor. Pgh, Mia, Ten are looking for wr help, but if he has a relatively high price tag, why trade for 'em?...a new team still has to negotiate with a player - I guess - trying to figure out the NFLPA Agreement beats me evrytime.
KD in CA Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Here I am to save the day! 68577 Bad spelling never hangs around When he hears Alaska Darin’s sound. "Here I come to save the day" That means that Evil Nerd has spotted prey. Yes sir, when you post with poor grammar, Evil Nerd will drop hammer. On PPP or on the Wall, He’ll let you know when you have dropped the ball.
Greg de'Ville Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 ...the "Stiff from Cedar Cliff" (Part Deux)? Cut Wire!
ganesh Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Antonio Brown? 68638 Don't we already have a bunch of others warming the benches....Get them to play..
Robert Paulson Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 the only thing that bugs me was why he was not cut during camp. we are liable for his full year salary because he was on the opening day roster. he should have never made it past 8/15.
zow2 Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Shaw is nothing. There's 500 other WR's around the League that can do the same things as Shaw. I'd much rather see them develop Aiken or give Drew Haddad a shot.
ganesh Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 I am sorry never liked the guy and is to much of a show boat for an average receiver. 68634 Yes never wanted us to get this guy from Jacksonville...He stunk up the joint in Pgh and Jax...now he can add the bills to his list.... May be the crucial drop he had in the final drive to get the first down made him the scapegoat.
