Cutting the end of the game

So I get up at 5:30am on Sunday morning (after 3 hours sleep), cook a big breakfast for my son and his friend and two visiting Bills fans. In spite of little sleep and a few hangovers, we manage to stay awake through ALL those penalties and then get cut off with a minute and a half to go. Talk about gamus interruptus.

NFL Network never showed the end of the game?! I got cut off, but that's because I didn't pad my TiVo. I assumed it ran over, but didn't realize it wasn't shown at all. That sucks.

Well maybe that's what happened to me as well. I'm electronically challenged. I'd better get it straightened it out before next weekend.

I assumed since it was tape-delayed, and NFL Network said it was 3 hours long, that they'd fit it in that 3 hours... Apparantly not. :D You can pad the recording (if it's TiVo) under the recording options. Select the show, select options, and then add to the "Stop recording "On Time|1 minute|2 minutes|5 minutes\etc".

NFLTV ran the Bills/Titans game over yesterday morning by about 10 minutes. Luckily I was up watching it and had it Tivo'd just in case but still had to hit the record button once it stopped recording. I guess when ever I'm going to record any further games, I will set the recording options to at least 30 minutes after just in case.

On another note, I kind of liked how they took the feed from the Bills TV crew for the first half and the Titans the second. I would have preferred Steve and Marv all game long but it's nice that they didn't cram one play by play team down your throat the whole game, kinda nice for both sides.

Sounds like a better time was had before the game. :D

We had a big storm on Saturday and Con Edison turned the lights out around midnight to work on a line problem, we didn't get power back until 4PM Sunday afternoon, missed the game and lost some food.

The real question is...why only three hours of sleep?

LA - have you been married so long that you've forgotton what single people do on Saturday night?

Not sure what everyone is referring to. I, too, watched the 7am showing on Sunday and saw the whole game right down to the last second Fg. maybe they straightened it out for the east coast viewers? The half time did seem unusually short.....
