H2o
http://profootballtalk.com/2007mockdraft5.0.htm Miami takes Dwayne Bowe @ #9 And we reached for Whitner? Vikings take Peterson @ #7? Didn't they just shell out a decent amount of money to Taylor last year? The rest are ehhhh, alright or atleast you could kinda see it happening. They got the Bills taking Lynch. I've seen a few mocks with the Vikes taking Peterson. Taylor played well last year for them so it seems a bit strange to me but apparently others think it's a real possiblity. stuckincincy
These guys pick well. I picked Leon Hall at #18 for CIN in the 3-round mock this Monday...and they did the same on Wednesday. They traded the Jets #25 pick for some reason...the guy I picked for them, Anthony Spencer, was picked at #27 on their mock..

But how do you or anybody else for that matter, really know what a 'reach' is? Bowe is widely regarded as a consensus first round pick. Within that tight context, nobody can say who is a reach, steal, or bust until at least 3 years after the draft. Past drafts are full of "reaches" that turned into probowlers and major super bowl contributors; some "steals" are out of the NFL. I remember how many on this very board were screaming about what a steal SF WR Rashaun Woods was. He hasn't done anything. I remember in the 2004 draft, Reggie Williams was drafted ahead of Lee Evans and nobody on ESPN blinked about that. Think The Jags want that one back? NOBODY on ESPN thought CB Ahmad Carrol was a reach in the first round, either. He was on every mock draft's first round. Three years later, the consensus is that he sucks.
