mattypro89 Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 The dolpins are trying to get a deal worked out with the KC Chiefs for Trent Green. would this mean theyve given up on Culpepper, and what about Lemon? Is it possible they would draft a QB with their first pick if the new coaching staff wants Dante out and questions Lemon? thoughts...
CJPearl2 Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Oh please....please....please...sign Drew Bledsoe.
mattypro89 Posted April 3, 2007 Author Posted April 3, 2007 hahaha, that would be beautiful. our Dline could get probowler numbers in one game!
K-Gun10 Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 I can really see culpepper wearing silver and black with oakland.
JimBob2232 Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 hahaha, that would be beautiful. our Dline could get probowler numbers in one game! Not sure than we can get more numbers than we got against cullpepper....
CJPearl2 Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Not sure than we can get more numbers than we got against cullpepper.... Very good point. Our first game against them was great. He made Denney look like Bruce Smith.
OCinBuffalo Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Very good point. Our first game against them was great. He made Denney look like Bruce Smith. He also got Kowned!
Pete Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Damn- I was hoping Culpepper would be the starter the next 10 years for the Dolphins. He is horrible!
DrDawkinstein Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 i think we figured out that the progression for the Dolphins is: Culpepper/Harrington -> Green/Carr -> Bledsoe/Brooks
MDH Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 Why would Miami not want to keep Culpepper? Weren't the Phin fans saying he was one of the greatest QBs ALL TIME before last season and that they were SB bound because of him? There isn't much in life that is better than watching Phin fans delude themselves and then suffer the consequences once the season rolls around.

It was the guys at ESPN saying he was one of the greatest QBs of all time and it was the best offseason move in a decade.

It was the guys at ESPN saying he was one of the greatest QBs of all time and it was the best offseason move in a decade. and these are the same guys who have been bashing the Bills' offseason moves. i cant wait until we smash the pats twice this year and finally get some recognition!!!!

Culpepper was called an elite QB 1 year ago and Nick Saban would escort his team to the Super Bowl!
H2o Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 I read on PFT about a week ago where they talked to some sources that said Dante was 60% of his way out the door. The only reason he hasn't been released is because they think it would go into a lawsuit with Culpepper claiming he was pressured into rushing back from his injury to his knee. They expect it would be some kind of nasty, settlement involving lawsuit that would grant him alot of his contractural dollars. They also want to see if someone will bite on a trade so they can atleast get something in return for the guy and avoid a nasty "divorce" proceeding with the guy.

Culpepper would have a good case too. After spending his off-season rehabbing in a Walmart parking lot, how could the Fins actually expected he would ever be able to play again. Culpepper sucks because he has no brain, and can't make decisions Tough to blame that on the Dolphins.
H2o Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 !@#$ the !@#$ing Phish. That started as soon as they brought in Nick Saban and may the discord continue
Whites Bay Posted April 4, 2007 Posted April 4, 2007 Oh please....please....please...sign Drew Bledsoe. I had to dig for a minute to find this post from KensBills. Oh, wait a minute. Here it is: AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA. Yeppers. That pretty much sums it up.
