I know country music is a joke to most people here, but, like any other genre of music, it has its' very good and very bad. Back in her early days, Evans was one of the best "real country" singers on the horizon. I helped to promote her back in the late 1990's, and it was a pleasure, because she was a really nice person, and her music was great...unfortunately, IMO, she sold herself out, and just puts out that awful "country"...the kind that tries to be rock and country, but is really neither....it is a shame to me. I love "real country music". She is still a fine looking woman though! Check out her video for the song "I Could Not Ask For More" (a cover of a pukey Edwin McCain song)...it'll put a lump in your shorts!

Hopefully, they'll age (musically and physically) as well as Emmylou Harris has. Here's my question: What's the current deal with Joss Stone? When she first started out (17 or so) she was GREAT, IMO. Like Aretha Franklin in a cute little blond Brit's body. Then she started doing gap ads, i believe she started getting "comercial", but I'm not sure of that. Any info from the experts?
