rolly Posted October 13, 2004 Share Posted October 13, 2004 Considering that our O-line is a noticable weakness on the offense, (especially the pass protection) why doesnt the offense try this: -Use some 2-tight end sets, if the defense blitzes they stay back for protection, if they dont, they can go out on a passing route. -Campbell is a decent blocker and I like what I see out of Euhus' routes and receiving. -Also, I think the offense should stick with 2-Wr sets primarily. 3-Wr sets work when you have a #3 who can catch the ball. Reed cant handle this and Shaw doesnt get the playing time. -One last thing, Mcgahee is obviously a much better blocker than Henry. So give him some more time in there. -Just some thoughts about improving our pass protection, MM probably already tried this but I havent seen much of it.
